Port Colborne & Wainfleet

Part of the south coast of Niagara, Port Colborne is found along the Lake Erie coast just west of Fort Erie. Surrounded by Niagara countryside, green space and farmland, Port Colborne is where the Welland Canal reaches Lake Erie after crossing Niagara from St.Catharines to the north. 

With all that waterfront, there are loads of trails and waterfront amenities to enjoy whether that is a trail, park or ice cream shop. 

Wainfleet is a small township to the west of Port Colborne which has equally beautiful stretches of beachfront along Lake Erie. For a sample, check out Long Beach Conservation Area. 

For a nice summer afternoon out, head over to the Sugarloaf Harbour Marina area for an afternoon beverage, relax in a park or just take in the sights.
